Possibly in an effort to keep audiences interested in the ever-fading franchise, Walden Media has decided to skip two of the novels in the series and next adapt The Magician's Nephew for the big screen.
The studio has decided to skip the less interesting books, The Silver Chair and The Horse and His Boy. That's unfortunate for Narnia fans who were excited to see the entire series transform into Hollywood movie-making magic.
Many people only know The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, so Walden Media is obviously trying to capitalize on the popularity of that book by adapting The Magician's Nephew to show interested viewers where it all began.
Maybe they'll go back and do the other two later on.
Are you a fan of the Narnia series? How do you feel about the studio skipping two of the books?
