James Franco and Winona Ryder are set to star in The Stare, according to Deadline.
The film follows a playwright (Ryder) who slowly begins to lose her mind as she gets deeper into the production of her play. Franco will appear as one of the actors in the play.
The Stare will be directed by Jay Anania who recently directed Shadows and Lies -- also starring Franco.
Ryder recently starred in Black Swan and The Dilemma.
Meanwhile, Franco just could be considered one of the busiest men in Hollywood. He will appear in the upcoming Rise of the Planet of the Apes and will also appear in Sam Raimi's Oz, the Great and Powerful. Plus, he is teaching a graduate course at Columbia and is said to be adapting William Faulkner's 'As I Lay Dying.'
