Silent Hill: Revelation 3D has some new stars joining the cast. Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix) and Malcolm McDowell will join the cast as Claudia Wolf and Leonard Wolf.
The film, directed by Michael J. Bassett, is currently filming in Toronto.
Moss and McDowell join Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, and Sean Bean as residents of Silent Hill.
"Carrie has displayed her enormous talent across all genres – from 'The Matrix' trilogy to 'Memento' – and we are delighted for her to join the world of Silent Hill," producer Samuel Hadida said of Moss. "She will certainly bring a new level of excitement to fans of the videogame franchise."
And Bassett had nothing but great things to say about McDowell.
"Malcolm is quite simply an icon of modern cinema and I've been a fan since I was a teenager when I managed to see 'A Clockwork Orange.' He has an amazing ability to bring new and unexpected dimensions to his characters and I know he will bring something unique and disturbing to Silent Hill."
Silent Hill: Revelation 3D is based on the survival horror videogame franchise. It follows the story of Heather Mason who has always been on the run with her father. On her 18th birthday, she endures terrible nightmares and finds out she's not who she always thought she was.
