Production is set to start this week for Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, starring Keira Knightley and Steve Carell.

The film also boasts a large supporting cast including, Adam Brody, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Moses, T.J. Miller, Lindsay Sloan, and Gillian Jacobs.

The film explores what people will do when faced with humanity's last days.  Can one man find his greatest love at the worst possible time?  Dodge (Carell) and Penny (Knightley) meet in very unusual circumstances and the two connect causing their outlooks on like to brighten.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is directed by Lorene Scafaria, who also wrote the screenplay for Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.
