Aaron Eckhart, Sean Bean, and AnnaSophia Robb are all set to star in a grown-up version loosely based on the classic Peter Pan, according to ScreenDaily.
The darker version of the tale, from New Line/Warner Bros., was originally going to be directed by Guillermo de Toro, now Ben Hibon will be behind the camera.
According to the site Eckhart will play the Hook character, who is a tormented former detective on the trail of a childlike kidnapper. Robb will play Wendy, the lone survivor of the kidnapper who leaves an asylum to help Hook find the kidnapper. Sean Bean will play Smee, the chief detective and Hook's only ally.
Sounds like it's definitely a loose adaptation of the fairy tale. Filming is scheduled to begin in Eastern Europe in October.
