Bill Nighy, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel are all confirmed to be joining the cast of Columbia Pictures' Total Recall remake, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
They will be joining Colin Farrell and Bryan Cranston in the remake, directed by Len Wiseman.
Based on the short story We Can Remember It for You Wholesale by Philip K. Dick, Total Recall follows the story of Douglas Quaid, a factory worker who begins to think he is a spy, but he doesn't know for which side - Euromerica or New Shanghai.
According to the article, the remake "ditches the Martian storyline from the original pic."
Nighy is set to play Quatto, the leader of the resistance, Beckinsale will play Lori, and Biel will play Melina.
The original Total Recall was released in 1990 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. The new one is planned for a August 3, 2012 release.
