Mark Wahlberg is planning on reteaming with his The Fighter director David O Russell to film a big screen adapation of Matthew Quick's 2008 novel The Silver Lining Playbook.
The story focuses on a former high school teacher who has just been released back into the custody of his mother. He believes that he has only been away for a few month, when in actuality he has been in a mental institution for for year. He decides he needs to win back his wife and makes it his mission to get her back.
Wahlberg will play the teacher and now word on the street is that Russell is meeting with Angelina Jolie to talk about being in the film.
She would more than likely play the ex-wife at the center of the teacher's affections.
We'll see if Jolie will actually go for this. If she does, she'll bring some pretty big star power to the film.
