Two new movies hit theaters in wide release this weekend. A mysterious sci-fi from mega producer Steven Spielberg and director J.J. Abrams. Judy Moody also hits the big screen for the first time, based on the bestselling YA novel.
Universal Pictures is in early talks with Jason Bateman to star in The Insane Laws. The comedy will also be the directorial debut for comedy screenwriter Jeremy Garelick.
The director is said to be in talks with Universal to direct a movie adaptation of the classic video game. More information to come if this deal goes through.
