20th Century Fox has released the UK poster for Rise of the Planets of the Apes, set to hit theaters on August 5.  The

Set in present day San Francisco, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, follows a scientist who's genetic engineering leads to the development of a heightened intelligence in apes.  The intelligence leads to a war between apes and humans for supremacy.

The Rupert Wyatt-directed film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, John Lithgow, Brian Cox, Tom Felton, and Andy Serkis.
