We finally get to see a first look at the new George Clooney film Ides of March that will make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
The politically charged film centers on a presidential election set during the Iowa primary race. Ryan Gosling stars as a young press spokesman who fall for the backroom politics and manipulation that takes place during an election.
This film marks Clooney's return as a director after 2008's Leatherheads. He also stars in the film as Governor Morris, a candidate running in the primaries. The film co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Jeffrey Wright and Evan Rachel Wood.
