The remake of The Crow suffered a blow as star Bradley Cooper has bowed out due to scheduling conflicts.
As news of Cooper’s exit shot through Hollywood, a few names immediately rose to the forefront to replace him in the role that served as the one that made Brandon Lee a star and also took his life.
Mark Wahlberg has shown interest in playing the Crow, as has Channing Tatum.
The Crow is a reboot of the 1994 film that itself was based on the James O’Barr comic book series. It is the story of Eric Draven who rises from the dead to avenge the murder of his beloved wife.
Cooper, fresh off of The Hangover 2, found himself with too many projects on his plate once he accepted the role of the devil in Paradise Lost. Guess Cooper decided it was better to be devilish than dead.
