The Avengers trailer has finally arrived and it’s everything we hoped for and more. Movie Fanatic has seen several clips from The Avengers at D23 and those certainly whet our appetites for more Avengers and to see the entire trailer compiled including those clips and video images that delve further into The Avengers lexicon, we are beside ourselves!

The Avengers doesn’t arrive in theaters until May 4, kicking off the 2012 summer movie season. I don’t know about our readers, but this trailer certainly satisfies the hunger for the film to finally arrive in full. At least... for now.

As the film has released The Avengers behind the scenes photos little by little, the arrival of the trailer is the next step in piecing together the puzzle that is The Avengers story.
