Michael Fassbender is earning raves and serious Oscar buzz for his portrayal of a sex addict in Shame. The film’s trailer has arrived and the highly stylized film showcases what we already knew after watching Fassbender in Jane Eyre (one of our Top 10 Movies of 2011 So Far) and X-Men: First Class: The actor is one of the finest working today.

Director Steve McQueen has been garnering his own heap of praise for his work on Shame. Although the film is currently rated NC-17, the trailer only hints at that aspect and focuses squarely on the explosive acting bomb that is Michael Fassbender.
