As the poster for Casa de mi Padre tells us, Will Ferrell is Armando Alvarez. Judging by Ferrell’s animated pose on the new one sheet, he is all business in the Spanish language flick landing in theaters March 16. Yes, you read that right: Ferrell in a Spanish language film!
Ferrell’s latest comedy has had little fanfare; there hasn’t even been a trailer. The story, although it does not appear to be comedic, follows two brothers who are trying to save their family farm, only to wind up in the midst of an all-out war with a drug lord.
Hopefully, we’ll see more from Casa de mi Padre (House of my Father) in the coming weeks -- color us intrigued about Ferrell in a full-on Spanish movie.
