Stunt Horse May Have Saved Johnny Depp's Life: Mishap From the Set of The Lone Ranger

After actor Johnny Depp took a fall on the set of The Lone Ranger, a stunt horse just barely evaded his body, jumping over him instead.

Depp says that he had a good relationship with the horse, named Scout, and that after being dragged 25 yards, he could have been trampled, but instead escaped relatively unharmed.

The Lone Ranger, premiering in 2013, stars Depp as Tonto alongside Armie Hammer, who plays the eponymous hero.

You can celebrate the fact that Depp is indeed still alive by going to the upcoming premiere weekend of his new film, Dark Shadows.
