Admission, a new comedy from Focus Features starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, begins filming this week.
The film follows Fey's Portia Nathan, a Princeton admissions officer, as she visits an experimental high school (whose founder is played by Rudd), and discovers a forgotten piece of her past. Nathan is a 40-something woman dealing with the idea of motherhood, a theme that Fey is no stranger to (perhaps she's subconsciously trying to act out a childless fantasy).
Fey begins filming shortly after NBC announced that 30 Rock will return for a seventh and final season. Paul Rudd, meanwhile, can be seen in This Is 40 later this year (watch the This Is 40 trailer).
Admission will also feature Michael Sheen and Wallace Shawn, and is being directed by Paul Weitz (Being Flynn). Look for Admission in theaters next year.
