Liberal Arts Trailer Drops: Josh Radnor's Indie Rom Com

Liberal Arts. Dare I call it Josh Radnor's Garden State? Star of a popular sitcom writes, directs, and stars in a little indie about a depressive adult returning home and falling in love with a young full-of-life female? Check out the trailer and decide for yourself:

The most glaring difference between Liberal Arts and Garden State is that this isn't Radnor's first movie. Radnor, best known for playing Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother, won the Sundance Audience Award for his 2010 debut happythankyoumoreplease.

The new film stars Radnor as a man who returns to his alma mater at the behest of a professor, played by Richard Jenkins (The Cabin in the Woods). There, he meets a 19-year-old college student, played by Elizabeth Olsen.

Liberal Arts premiered at Sundance earlier this year and will open in theaters September 14.
