Argo has received its first TV spot. Check it out:

Ben Affleck directs and stars in the film, which chronicles the true story of the Iran hostage crisis. Looking to sneak six Americans out of the area, CIA officer Tony Mendez hires a fake film crew to go in, pretend to shoot a film, and leave with the hostages.

John Goodman (ParaNorman), Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin, Chris Messina, and Kyle Chandler also star.

Argo will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, before its release on October 12. Check out the Argo trailer for more.
