The first trailer for the new computer animated feature Dorothy of Oz has dropped! Check it out:
The film stars Lea Michele as the voice of Dorothy, who returns to Oz after leaving at the end of the story we all know. There, she meets up with her old friends, who are all voiced by titans of comedy...during the 80s and early 90s. Dan Aykroyd (The Campaign) plays The Scarecrow, with Kelsey Grammer as the Tin Man and Jim Belushi as the Cowardly Lion.
Martin Short (Madagascar 3) plays the villain, the Jester, who seeks control of Oz. Bernadette Peters and Patrick Stewart also star.
Dorothy of Oz will hit theaters some time in 2013, and it won't be the only Oz-related tale next year. Sam Raimi's Oz: the Great and Powerful is set to premiere March 8.
