Parker Trailer Drops: Jason Statham Plays Dirty

Hey, movie characters! How many times have we been over this? If you kill someone, make sure they're dead before you walk away. Because they're most likely not, and then they're going to come back and make things all weird for you.

That's what happens in the new trailer for the action movie Parker that dropped on Machinima. Oh, and we also get to hear Jason Statham take a stab at a Southern accent. Take a look:

Statham stars as a thief with a code of ethics, who evades murder after refusing to take a jewel heist job. He teams up with a real estate agent, played by Jennifer Lopez (What to Expect When You're Expecting), to seek revenge by stealing back the loot from the men who tried to kill him. Michael Chiklis an Nick Nolte also star.

The film is based on the Donald E. Westlake novel The Hunter, which has served as source material for the films Point Blank, Full Contact, and Payback. Parker will hit theaters January 25, 2013. Check out the poster for the movie below:
