We've long since known there was a high probability that Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher would reprise their roles as Luke, Han, and Leia in Star Wars Episode VII. But now, Fisher has confirmed her involvement.
Fisher spoke with Palm Beach Illustrated, who asked her if she could confirm that she will be a part of the new film. Fisher responded simply, "Yes" (hopefully that "yes" is as meaningful as we'd like it to be).
Deals are likely being worked out for Hamill and Ford, who recently joined the cast of Anchorman 2.
J.J. Abrams will direct Star Wars Episode VII, which is expected to take place after the events of Return of the Jedi. The story will center around the children of the original trilogy's main protagonists.
