After making a splash on In Living Color, Jim Carrey made the leap to the big screen look almost effortless. He scored an instant hit with Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and then proved that that success was not a fluke with his blockbuster work on The Mask, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar and got a little serious with the smash hit The Truman Show.
