Looks like the stars of Dodgeball are about to re-take the court.
Yes, 10 years after the original underdog story supplied sophomoric but still hilarious Dodgeball quotes and one-liners galore, a sequel is in the works at Fox.
The original story featured Vince Vaughn’s team of Average Joes climbing the tournament ranks to square off against Ben Stiller’s steroid-laden Globo-Gym.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two adversaries will be teaming up to take on an even bigger opponent in the sequel, which would be legendary.
There is no timetable attached to the Dodgeball sequel, but hopefully Ben, Vince and Co. are limbering up and practicing their wrench-dodging capabilities.
The studio and the production company run by Stiller and Stuart Cornfeld have tapped Clay Tarver to pen the script for the long-talked-about sequel.
