Warner Bros. has given Movie Fanatic a new 12-minute behind-the-scenes video of Pacific Rim. The clip shows the magic of director Guillermo del Toro and his monstrous vision for his film that features a world where alien monsters have arisen from our oceans to bring us to the brink of global destruction.

As shown in the Pacific Rim trailer, the human race responds in kind by building the largest robots you have ever seen on film, to battle back the killers using their own game of outrageous size.

The buzz is through the roof for Pacific Rim, arriving in theaters July 12 in 3D. The film stars Ron Perlman, Idris Elba and the man who told us in our Charlie Day exclusive interview that he is “playing both sides of the monster coin” this summer after his turn in Monsters University.
