We already know that Catching Fire is heading to Comic-Con, and so are Divergent and Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. But, in a move that came out of left field… The Crow remake will make an appearance at the storied Hall H. We know that Luke Evans was cast in the role that made Brandon Lee famous and also tragically took his life. But, that is about it.
The Crow remake has been met with mixed reactions and has been on and off in terms of it happening, but director F. Javier Gutierrez and The Crow creator, author James O’Barr, will be hitting the annual San Diego pop culture convention in a move that will likely thrill fans.
Movie Fanatic will be there and bring you any and all news from The Crow.
“It is important for Crow fans to understand that Relativity, Javier, Luke and the entire team are working on a new adaptation of the book itself. I believe that this movie will stand alongside Brandon and his film as a valid work of art, and I look forward to collaborating on the project,” O’Barr said in a statement.
Shooting begins in 2014 from a screenplay by Cliff Dorfman.
