The latest star to join the crowded cast of The Expendables 3 is Kelsey Grammer! The film is currently shooting in Bulgaria with new additions Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas. So, who will he play and how will it fit into the story?

His character name is Bonaparte, and it is a role that was once offered to Nicolas Cage. Hey, one of these days Cage will be in a The Expendables movie!

So, Bonaparte was a mercenary and we’re guessing he was somehow involved with the Expendables crew and his participation could go two ways: He could be joining the guys and helping the cause, or he is on the side of bad guy Gibson battling the boys out of some sort of revenge plot.

Star and creator Sylvester Stallone has managed to make his The Expendables world one of the most star-drawing casts around. It almost makes us think that although the film is currently shooting, that casting is not done! 

Grammer must also be finished shooting the other huge budget film he is attached to: Transformers: Age of Extinction.
