The weekend movie preview is a jam-packed one this weekend with so much to choose from. Rush expands to nationwide release where it was just out in a few theaters last week. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 starts moments after the first one concluded, Metallica: Through the Never takes audiences on a ride that you'll Never forget, and Joseph Gordon Levitt makes an astounding directorial debut in Don Jon.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2: Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) and Sam Sparks (Anna Faris) are back in the sequel to the monster hit animated first film. This time the action picks up, literally, moments after the first movie ended. The residents of Swallow Falls have been moved away for the food clean-up. Only, Lockwood's invention produced something else: Food that has mutated like animals. Check out our Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 review for more and see why this is a film franchise that is getting better and better.

Rush: Ron Howard has outdone himself with Rush. The true story of the racing rivalry between Niki Lauda and James Hunt fuels this story and it is the performance of Daniel Bruhl that makes this thing jaw-droppingly awesome. Our Rush review cannot recommend it enough, even if you are not a fan of car racing.

Don Jon: Gordon Levitt adds writer-director to his resume in the story that finds him also starring as a man who is lucky with the ladies, until one lady makes him change his ways. When his title character meets Scarlett Johansson, he begins to change. But, something is holding him back and it isn't until he meets Julianne Moore's character that he realizes what it is. Check out our Don Jon review for why this is a can't-miss movie!

Metallica Through the Never: Dane DeHaan stars as a roadie sent on a mission for the band who has to fight through riots and chaos to do his job in this concert movie that is anything but ordinary. The band has never sounded so good, and filmmakers capturing them in 3D and in IMAX have done fans a huge favor by creating a benchmark for how all rock band movies will be made heading forward. Our Metallica Through the Never review will have you yearning to go rock in the aisles.
