The first of what we suspect will be many character posters for the sequel to 300, 300: Rise of an Empire, has landed. The initial character poster is for Lena Headey, and her mission in this sequel is obvious from the poster where it simply states, “Avenge him.”

The him on the poster is clearly Gerard Butler’s character, and if that 300: Rise of an Empire trailer is any indication, they do more than avenge… they kick major butt!

300: Rise of an Empire lands March 7, 2014 and also stars Rodrigo Santoro, Eva Green and Hans Matheson.
