American Hustle has released two new clips from the highly anticipated film that is set to be released limitedly December 13, before going national on December 18. Fresh off of the film’s New York Critics win for Best Picture, we’ve got two scenes from the film that shows that director David O. Russell has truly captured the 1970s on multiple levels.

Our first clip features the first meeting between the characters played by Amy Adams and Christian Bale. There is immediate chemistry between the two and we love not only the Chicago track playing in the background, but Adams’ pairing a fur coat with a swimsuit!

The second American Hustle clip features Bale in a meeting with Bradley Cooper’s FBI agent where we learn that he really does not have much of a choice but to participate in the sting operation that is at the heart of the true tale about the Abscam scandal.
