Golden Globe Nominations Announced: 12 Years a Slave & American Hustle Score 12!
by Joel D Amos at . Updated at . CommentsThe 2014 Golden Globe nominations have been announced and our Oscar picture is getting a little more in focus. Two favorites are emerging, 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle, who each earned seven nominations.
12 Years a Slave scored its nominations with nods for Best Picture Drama, Best Director for Steve McQueen, Michael Fassbender for Best Supporting Actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor for Best Actor, Best Original Score, Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress (Lupita Nyong’o).
American Hustle earned its nominations for Best Picture Comedy or Musical, Best Director for David O. Russell, Amy Adams for Best Actress, Christian Bale for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress for Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper for Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay.
The awards will be handed out January 12, 2014 with hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler dishing the laughs. Here is the full list of nominees…
