The first The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer is here! It appears in this first teaser that the power of being Spider-Man is weighing on Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield). As he says in the opening moments of the newly released trailer, “The more people I try to save, the more enemies I get.” That could not be more true as the villainy in the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man has grown exponentially.

Spider-Man famously battles Jamie Foxx as Electro and Paul Giamatti as Rhino, but it appears that Dane DeHaan’s Harry Osborn may be a version of Green Goblin of some kind. That much was teased in that cryptic The Amazing Spider-Man 2 poster we premiered earlier this week, and now the trailer has confirmed it!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters May 2, 2014 and brings back Andrew Garfield as Parker/Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, plus we get our first look in the above trailer at Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn, head of what is clearly an evil corporation, Oscorp!
