Hercules Photos: First “Official” Look at Dwayne Johnson

We’ve seen all those Dwayne Johnson Hercules set videos and social media photos of him working on Hercules, but today, MGM has released the first true stills from the sword and sandals epic.

The photos are also meant to tease the arrival of the first trailer from the July 25 release, which lands tomorrow!

Hercules stars Johnson, as well as Ian McShane, Joseph Fiennes, Rufus Sewell and John Hurt.

Unlike the Kellan Lutz-starring The Legend of Hercules, Johnson’s Hercules is based on a wildly popular graphic novel, Hercules: The Thracian Wars. In this incarnation of the Hercules tale, he’s already a legend!
