Captain America: The Winter Soldier banked $41.4 million to bring its two week total to $159 million. Right behind Cap in second place was Rio 2. The animated film made its debut at number two with an extremely impressive $39 million.

Third place belonged to a solid horror film we hoped many would see (as we reported in our Oculus review). Oculus debuted in third with $12 million with another debut movie right behind it in fourth, Draft Day and its $9.8 million.

Closing out the top five was a previous number one, Divergent. The Veronica Roth page-to-screen effort added another $7.5 million to bring its total to $125 million.
