Transformers Age of Extinction TV Trailer: Imagine Dragons Providing Theme

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Transformers: Age of Extinction has released two new TV trailers and both not only feature new footage (a cigar smoking Transformer?!), but are used as the vehicle for announcing that multi-platinum band Imagine Dragons has been tapped to provide the theme song.

The track from Imagine Dragons will be entitled Battle Cry and they are following in the footsteps of Linkin Park, who provided music for the last several Michael Bay Transformers movies.

As you can see from the Transformers: Age of Extinction trailer, it is fitting that a new band has come along to provide the track as this fourth Transformers film is a whole new world. The biggest change is Shia LaBeouf is out, and Mark Wahlberg is in.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters June 27 and to get ready, why not see how it all began and watch Transformers online

Paramount also released a new poster that appears to have Optimus Prime riding a Dinobot! Click through and see all our Transformers: Age of Extinction posters.
