The weekend movie preview this time out is truly a monster!

The Gareth Edwards-directed epic Godzilla finally lands on our shores, and he's not alone in the new film department as the Jon Hamm-starring true story Million Dollar Arm from Disney arrives too!

Godzilla: The "king of the monsters," as Godzilla is so affectionately known, is back with a vengeance. As we stated in our Godzilla review, this is a film that is a spectacle, yes, but it also has a lot of heart and emotional pull. Bryan Cranston delivers one of his best performances, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen play a husband and wife team that has us pulling for them to survive this disaster of biblical proportions.

The special effects are extraordinary, but to get to an even finer point, Godzilla has the best sound design I think I've ever heard. Go for the monster, stay for the emotion, and leave with your ears ringing in utter joy from what you have just seen and heard!

Million Dollar Arm: Hamm plays real-life sports agent JB Bernstein. As the film begins, his agency is on the verge of going bankrupt. He needs a miracle. What he finds is truly extraordinary. He heads to India and starts a reality TV show competition called Million Dollar Arm and it's all in hopes of finding a cricket player who they can mold into a Major League Baseball pitcher.

As our Million Dollar Arm review reported, this is a Disney film that is heartwarming, inspiring and a baseball movie that will be remembered long after the credits have rolled.
