As part of the E3 presentation for the game World of Tanks, Sony debuted the first footage in a featurette for David Ayer’s Fury over on IGN.
The film follows the “family” that is a tight-knit tank unit in the waning days of World War II. They’re exhausted. They’re stretched thin… and this war is not over yet.
Fury is from David Ayer (writer of Training Day, writer-director of End of Watch) and features an all-star cast.
Brad Pitt is joined by Michael Pena, Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf and Jon Bernthal in an emotional journey that shows us World War II as we’ve never seen it before. As stated in the above featurette, this film was shot with real film cameras to give it that realistic feel that is worthy of the men who served during World War II.
Check out the Fury Synopsis:
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Look for Fury in theaters November 14.
