The extended trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy is here and it's explosive, hilarious and jaw-dropping in its use of special effects. Oh, and then there's the tease of the awesome Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack. 

Hot on the heels of the release of a slew of new Guardians of the Galaxy photos, Marvel has released this over two-minute tease that, as Chris Pratt's Star Lord says, is "a bit of good, a bit of bad, a bit of both!" 

Guardians of the Galaxy lands August 1 and is the first group of Marvel heroes fighting together since that superhero collective that can be seen when you watch The Avengers online. And from the early looks of things, this puppy looks just as supremely awesome!

In the above teaser, we also get our first look at Walking Dead veteran Michael Rooker as Yondu, as well as hearing our first words from our main villain, Lee Pace's Ronan the Accuser. 

To say we cannot wait for this flick is the understatement of the summer!
