Any time a movie trailer starts with the Pixar logo, you have us. Period. But, Pixar’s latest teaser trailer has arrived and it explores the most fascinating of concepts -- our emotions.
Oscar-winning director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc., Up) brings us Inside Out and it appears to be the most original of story ideas, brought to life in the most vividly gorgeous animated way that can only come from Pixar.
The teaser trailer for Inside Out is here and it starts with a cornucopia of images from some of their greatest hits. It is all part of an effort to show how the studio has captured the human emotional spectrum like no other. And now, they are literally going inside the brain to make characters out of those emotions.
We meet Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). And they are all inside the head of young Riley as she tries to adjust to life in her new city of San Francisco.
One of the most powerful of Pixar movies in the emotional realm can be seen when you watch Up online.
And considering that Inside Out is from the Up creator, we will be front and center when Inside Out arrives in theaters June 19, 2015 -- part of what we’re calling our greatest summer movie season ever!
