Hot on the heels of that riveting description of Tomorrowland that arrived yesterday, we’ve got the first Tomorrowland teaser trailer from Walt Disney.
Tomorrowland stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson, Tim McGraw, Judy Greer, Kathryn Hahn and Hugh Laurie and follows what happens when a girl (Robertson) finds a magical pin that allows her to “travel” to any place she wants. That could come in handy because, as we see from the following teaser trailer, this world appears to be going down the toilet.
The Disney film is directed by Brad Bird, the man behind The Incredibles and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and arrives May 22, 2015.
The footage appeared at New York Comic Con and Disney also released the film’s teaser poster and we have it in the slideshow below, along with a series of awesome-looking stills.
We’ve also got the film’s synopsis!
Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as "Tomorrowland." What they must do there changes the world--and them--forever.
