Christopher Nolan is wowing audiences yet again with his release of Interstellar. The film rocked an opening (long) weekend of $50 million. And we look for it to cross the coveted $100 million mark before long.

But, is it Nolan’s best work?

We count down our Top 8 Christopher Nolan films and they all share one thing in common: These are movies we could watch repeatedly.

Christopher Nolan was born in London and currently holds a dual citizenship of both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Nolan's first directorial effort was with the 1996 full length film, Following, which he made with a budge of $6,000.

Nolan's breakthrough came with his next film, Memento, which was released in 2000 and starred Guy Pearce.  Memento was crtically acclaimed and was nominated for both a Golden Globe and Academy Award.

Next Nolan would direct a remake of the Norwegian film, Insomnia, which starred Al Pacino and Robin Williams.

Out of nowhere, Nolan was choosen to direct the reboot of the Batman franchise with the 2005 Batman Begins starring Christian Bale.  In between the massively successful The Dark Knight, Nolan also directed The Prestige which also starred Christian Bale and Michael Caine.
