The American Sniper trailer has arrived and what was previewed in that stunning American Sniper teaser trailer is exponentially emotionally more powerful in the latest look at Clint Eastwood’s new film.

Bradley Cooper stars as the real life U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, the man who is credited with having more kills than any other sniper in U.S. military history. As we see in the below trailer, that kind of statistic can take a toll on any human being, and Kyle is no different.

Simply from the trailer, Cooper appears to have the role of his life and the emotional explosiveness of his performance comes through in a few short minutes.

American Sniper debuts December 25 and has many calling for Oscar nods for Best Picture and Best Actor. The film also features Sienna Miller, Luke Grimes and Jake McDorman.
