The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies Clip: Saying Goodbye to Middle Earth

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The release day for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is only two days away and the cast and filmmaker Peter Jackson are talking about leaving Middle Earth behind in a new featurette from Warner Bros.

For Jackson, it’s been a six-film journey through Middle Earth that began with The Lord of the Rings trilogy and now has concluded with The Hobbit trilogy, and to hear him talk about how he will “never be able to do that again,” well, that gets us kind of misty eyed.

Lee Pace, Luke Evans and Evangeline Lilly all chime in about why this experience was so special, as well as why this final film -- teased in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies trailer -- must be seen in IMAX. We’ve seen it, and cannot agree more.
