As if this Sony cancels The Interview story could get any wilder, the strangest thing just happened.
The studio uploaded a new trailer online for the film and it seems to address the controversy head on.
For one, it has a North Korean military soldier asking Franco, “How many times can the United States make the same mistakes?”
To which his character Dave Skylark answers, “As many times as it takes!”
Fitting with this situation, no?
Then, the trailer ends with a barrage of words that spell out, “In Rogen and Franco We Trust.”
So, there you have it. What does it mean?
Given that Sony has said that they have no intention of releasing the film at all, could this mean that the film will in fact land on Christmas Day on Video on Demand platforms?
Could be -- as the above trailer states that the film will be out on December 25.
