As fans of the popular franchise are well aware, in Back to the Future Part II, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) heads to the future and the year is 2015.

So, in honor of our New Year (2015!), we look at that popular film and delve deeper into what Robert Zemeckis and his team thought we would be doing.

The movie may have given us those memorable Back to the Future Part II quotes, but in terms of predicting the future life for ourselves in 2015?

Some things were way, way off. You can't fault the filmmakers for trying - and we don't claim that we could accurately portray 2045 right now - but still.
