Run All Night Trailer: Liam Neeson's Mob Hitman Tries to Save His Son

by at .  Updated at . Comments

We love Liam Neeson in action flicks, as you can see from our Taken 3 review for his film that premieres today. So, you can imagine our joy at how we’ve gotten our hands on the trailer and first photos for his latest, Run All Night.

Neeson plays a Brooklyn mob hitman who has to save his son from his boss’ (Ed Harris) ire. See, Harris’ son tried to kill Neeson’s son, but Neeson was there and took him out. That didn’t play too kindly for Harris’ gangster and all of Brooklyn’s underbelly will be out all night looking for Neeson and his son (played by Joel Kinnaman).

Run All Night re-teams Neeson with the director from his film you can see when you watch Non-Stop online, Jaume Collet-Serra.

We love the use of the classic O Danny Boy that accompanies this teaser and also adore the fact that Neeson appears to be having the time of his life in these action hero roles that shine a spotlight on middle-aged men who have a right to wrong, or even simply just a family to protect.

Look for Run All Night April 17!
