The first footage from the Austrian set of Spectre has arrived and we’ve got the first photo of Daniel Craig in action as James Bond.
Sony released the making-of clip and photo on the official site of James Bond, and after the success of Skyfall, they clearly know they have to deliver something truly special. The last Bond movie was by far its most successful, both critically and financially. It even won the franchise its first Academy Award for Best Song for Adele's Skyfall.
“We have to deliver an amazing sequence and this is going to be one of the major action sequences of the movie. It’s going to be spectacular and Austria seemed to offer everything that we needed to pull it off,” said Associate Producer Gregg Wilson.
The first look footage shows off Craig as 007, as well as the latest Bond girl, Lea Seydoux, and Dave Bautista’s baddie. Of course, we get to see director Sam Mendes back doing his magic after the brilliant job he did on Skyfall.
“The thing Sam and I talked about was how we are going to top Skyfall”, says Production Designer Dennis Gassner.
“We are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audience to look at and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world.”
Spectre lands November 6, and in the meantime, watch Skyfall online.
