We’ve got the first poster and a slew of images from the upcoming Guy Ritchie thriller, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The film features Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) and Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger, The Social Network) as a pair of Cold War era spies and judging by the looks of these photos, Ritchie has captured that time period impeccably.
Also, maybe it's just us, but if Daniel Craig chose to walk away from being 007, there’s one particular shot (it’s the first one in the slideshow below) where Cavill could BE James Bond!
Cavill is Napoleon Solo, a CIA agent who has no choice but to work hand-in-hand with a member of the KGB, his sworn enemy. Hammer is the Russian agent and together they must put aside their ideological differences to stop an international crime organization with designs on causing mayhem and destruction.
The Man from U.N.L.C.L.E. also stars one of our favorite actors, Jared Harris, and lands August 14.
And yes, if the name sounds familiar, it is because it is based on the smash hit TV series from the '60s.
Now, Mr. Ritchie, where is that trailer?! Until then, check out Cavill in action and watch Man of Steel online.
