The Man from U.N.C.L.E. Trailer: Henry Cavill Spies a Hit!

Guy Ritchie’s Snatch is one of our favorite movies in the crime genre. His take on classic mystery, that you can see when you watch Sherlock Holmes online, is also impressive.

Somewhere in the middle of those two flicks, by the looks of the newly released The Man from U.N.C.L.E. trailer, finds his latest.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a '60s classic TV series about a couple of Cold War spies who have to work together to fight evil that affects both the United States and the Soviet Union.

The CIA agent is played by the Man of Steel, Henry Cavill, and the KGB spook is portrayed by The Lone Ranger, Armie Hammer.

We think this is fantastic casting and, yes, it’s only a teaser, but it appears that Cavill and Hammer have what it takes to make this summertime action thriller a true throwback to the spy films of old.

Ritchie’s shooting style is also all over the above trailer and with the classic track playing in the background, it all looks to add up to quite the bucket of popcorn fun when it lands in theaters August 14.

Toss in one of our favorite actors in Jared Harris, and we think audiences will have a winner.
