Cameron Crowe has written and/or directed some of the most beloved films in the last several decades and now he’s back with Aloha.
From penning Fast Times at Ridgemont High to Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, he is one of this Movie Fanatic’s favorite auteurs. His latest romantic comedy lands May 29 and stars Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams and those three are the biggest selling points of the film’s first poster.
But, the great Aloha cast doesn’t end with those three. Alec Baldwin also stars, along with Bill Murray, John Krasinski and Danny McBride.
Cooper plays a military contractor who is sent to Hawaii to revisit one of his greatest occupational highs, launching the U.S. space program’s presence in the Aloha state. He must first deal with a jaded ex (McAdams) and grapple with his ever increasing feelings for the Air Force official (Stone) who is in charge of his Hawaiian activities.
With Crowe at the helm, prepare for some riveting and compelling dialogue, heartfelt humor and the potential for hearts to fall in Aloha.
