Mad Max Legacy Trailer Takes Us Back to the Beginning!

A fantastic “legacy” trailer has just arrived online for Mad Max: Fury Road that puts the entire George Miller post-apocalyptic saga in perspective.

The trailer takes us back to the beginning when Mel Gibson first donned those boots and roamed the Australian Outback trying to stay alive and secure enough petrol to keep riding.

The legacy trailer takes us through the origins of the Miller story and then does an impeccable job of handing us off to the latest film, which arrives May 15 and has Tom Hardy terrifically taking over the role from Gibson.

It was 35 years ago that Miller first introduced us to Max in Mad Max, and then in two subsequent chapters, The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

As a huge fan of the series, we could not be more eager for the next chapter and could not give Miller enough credit for this fantastic legacy trailer that brings the entire series full circle.

Mad Max: Fury Road also stars Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
